Hunter’s Country House combines gracious elegance with sheer comfort; and impeccable service and warm hospitality. Far from the madding crowd, yet conveniently close to a wide variety of leisure activities.

One of the first things guests notice about Hunters is the sense of “home”. It starts at the beginning of the driveway with enticing views into secret gardens abundant with butterflies and scented air.

Then the team and the House herself just seem to embody a feeling of family and belonging – of coming home.

Our combination of thatched and unthatched rooms and suites are plush and peaceful; tastefully decorated in a restful palette, accented with a romantic touches. A privately positioned patio and garden makes for tranquil relaxation, reflection & reconnecting.

Each of Hunter’s 6 luxurious room types are individually designed and decorated with their own distinctive atmosphere. All have patios and gardens. Certain suites have their own plunge pool.

Terrace Rooms: These 5 rooms leading onto outdoor patio seating areas, are intimate and cosy. Situated in close proximity to the main building and a short stroll from the tented boma and main pool area.

Orchard Rooms: These 4 suites are privately appointed in close proximity to the main pool complex. Decorated with interiors that meld past and present using contemporary textural fabrics in a calming palette offset by antique polished pieces.

Garden Suites: A classic and cozy escape in 12 individual thatched roofed Garden Suites, each privately positioned along the winding paths of our fragrant gardens.

Family Suites: Share family time together in one of our 3 Family Suites which have two spacious bedrooms en-suite, all within close proximity of the other.

Pool Suites: A haven of tranquility, our 2 Pool Suites have a separate lounge and dining area, French doors opening on to the patio and sundeck to a private pool and garden.

Family Pool Suite: Our two-bedroom Family Pool Suite with its own privately positioned pool, tucked discreetly into the beautiful garden. Ensuring you have everything you need and more for the perfect family escape

Enjoy refined country style dining at Sage @ Hunters or in one of the beautiful seating areas around the Estate, and choose from the set menu with choices.

For a casual lunch or dinner a la carte style, our award winning Zinzi Restaurant is just a stroll from both Hunters and Tsala. A third option is the exquisite glass-walled dining room at Tsala which offers a la carte for lunch or dinner.

You can soak up the sun, read, enjoy a glass of wine or share your adventures with your family and friends. Explore the Hunter’s Estate taking in the indigenous gardens and abundance of birdlife.

A large pool with loungers to relax on, lounge and library with a fireplace, complimentary WiFi access available throughout the property, in-room pamper treatments (on request) and Cubs Corner – a designated play area for children up to 6 years, babysitting facilities (on request).

Whilst staying at Hunter’s one can make use of our onsite bicycles to take a slow meander around the estate taking in the beautiful garden settings, getting fresh air and exercise. Should you not have plans to move very far perhaps pre-order a picnic to enjoy under a beautiful old tree relaxing, reading a book or simply enjoying being in nature.
