The Bitou 10 Education and Development Foundation is hosting a ‘Sandcastle Competition’ on Saturday, 1 September 2018, on Central Beach (Nipper’s Clubhouse) to raise awareness of the foundation and to provide families, friends and children with fun filled entertainment on the beach. We will be assisted by the Nipper’s team and The Plett Field Band will provide live entertainment for the event.

Registration will start at 9.00 at the Nipper’s Clubhouse. There are three categories to choose from: Junior; Senior; Group (family and friends). For a fee of R10 per single entry and R20 per group entry, participants will be allocated a ‘plot’ on which to build their sandcastle. The competition begins at 10.00 and will end at 11.00, which would allow all participants enough time to complete their masterpieces.

Judges will award prizes for the most original and creative sandcastles, in each category. All participants will be given the opportunity, once all photographs have been taken, to smash their creations and collect all debris in their allocated area.

All young children are to be accompanied by an adult. Tools and decorations for the sandcastles are to be brought along on the day. Refreshments will be on sale at the Nipper’s Clubhouse.
