Cancervive – Bandile Ntukantu, Thandi Mabukwe and Phaki Sebezo

Cancervive is a campaign aimed at spreading awareness about cancer, and most importantly getting all our leaders in our community to spearhead the fight against cancer regardless of their political affiliation, religious beliefs or business differences. Uniting and proving that they can work together for the benefit of our community in fighting sensitive issues such as cancer.

Very often the word ‘Oblivious’ is thrown about when we talk of the youth. Hence we are taking it upon ourselves to bridge the gap between generations and venture on this journey with our elders as we seek to spread the awareness of cancer.

On the day of the march all community leaders will wear their pink apparel and lead us as we embark on this campaign that we believe has the potential to help many who are suffering from cancer.

There is a saying that goes “if you want to go quick go alone, but if you want to go far, go together”.
