Christopher Vale is a classically trained singer. Specializing in the genres of opera, lieder and oratorio during his studies, Christopher was given a solid technical grounding that helped him achieve his many scholarships and prizes (which include the Mimi Coertse Vocal Scholarship). With a charming stage presence, Christopher is currently focusing on the more popular genres of musical theatre, jazz, pop and crossover, which focuses on the work of artists such as Josh Groban, Andrea Bocelli, Sarah Brightman and others.

Hoping to break new ground, Christopher has collaborated with accompanist Neil Krog to put together a journey through crossover music sure to delight and entertain those who hear it. Neil Krog has been an accompanist for the past 12 years accompanying choirs and soloists locally and abroad in various competitions, festivals and eisteddfods. He studied piano under Rene Botha and Joseph Stanford and organ under Gerrit Jordaan and Dean Aggenbach. Currently he directs a vocal ensemble, Chocolate Lounge, and as part of his organist appointment at St Andrews Presbyterian church, the church choir.

Recently he has partnered with multiple award winning baritone, Christopher Vale, to perform works across the spectrum, from Classical to jazz, to pop to crossover.
