Get Lucky Summer Residency, a series of summer events which is hosted by South Africa’s chart topping live electronic band GoodLuck, kicked off in December 2014 on the lawns of The Beacon Island Hotel, Plettenberg Bay, and was an instant summer sensation. The band teamed up with The Kiffness as well as a number of other guest DJs in bringing great local music to listeners every Sunday for 3 weeks.
GoodLuck are excited to announce that they will be bringing back Get Lucky Summer Residency for a second year, at one of the hottest holiday spots in the country. Running over a period of 5 weeks, GoodLuck will be performing their latest tracks as they usher their audience into a great week. GoodLuck has partnered with Castle Lite in bringing this all together. Set to kick-‐off on December 13th 2015, the event will go on for 5 weeks, ending on January 10th 2016.
Nestled in the coastline of the Western Cape, Plettenberg Bay is a popular vacation destination. From parent to child, the area has ample to offer the enLre family. Get Lucky Summer will be situated on the lawns of the Beacon Island Hotel (Tsogo Sun) which boasts the natural beauty of the area: rolling hills and crystalline waters. This is peak season for Plettenberg Bay. The area hosts thousands of newly matriculated guys and girls, and later in the season, families join in after schools have closed for the summer.
