Offshore, one of South Africa’s most exciting & dynamic jazz outfits, will be performing ONE SHOW ONLY in Plett en route to the Grahamstown National Arts Festival.
Expect eclectic and sophisticated Jazz with fusions of world music, funk and reggae.
Featuring: Martin Wolfaardt (piano), Buddy Wells (sax), Lee Thomson (trumpet), Reza Khota (guitar), Romy Brauteseth (bass) & Jonno Sweetman (drums).
Since the band’s inception in Knysna, led by pianist Martin Wolfaardt, Offshore has evolved over the years with several musicians added to Offshore’s flexible line-up.
“The Offshore live experience has little to do with any particular musical trend or artistic narrative; each performance is, essentially, an act of complete immersion in the profound mystery that is the moment of creation.” – National Arts Festival.
