Sons of Settlers

sons-of-settlersSons of Settlers is a folk band based in Cape Town, South Africa. Their style draws from their diverse range of influences locally and internationally, and they embrace this juxtaposition in their approach and sound. They combine African rhythms with Western melodies, hint towards Kwaito beats while swooning melodically in old 50s crooner styles. First and foremost the band is a fan of good songs rather than good artists and therefore strive to take the essence of what makes a good song and turn it into something that can get your feet stomping to.

Riders Connection

riders-connectionRiders Connection can only truly be described as a musical experience offering something completely unique and refreshing. Their Alternative Pop sound with a sweet twist of Reggae is capable of capturing the immediate attention of their audience through smooth grooving baselines combined with the jaw dropping beats from one of Berlin’s most respected Beatboxers and then entwining it with powerful, clear vocals making their performance one to be remembered.

JPson

jpsonFresh Folk from Cape Town, South Africa. Some compare JPson to the African version of Jack Johnson with a touch of modern folk and reggae giving off a positive summer feeling once heard. Life at the beach can be felt through Jp’s natural warm melodies that are bound to stay in your head creating a peaceful journey through music.
