We are extremely excited to be presenting the Plett Super Sixes supported by Stella Artois.

This concept is modeled on the European Tours sixes event, which has razzmatazz galore, with music on all holes, cheerleaders, shot clocks and wacky costumes. The question remains – is the conservative golf world ready for an innovative format?

The Plett Super Sixes will try and recreate some elements of the above. It is going to be tight to finish the event in one day and we can’t afford any time wasting. It is a betterball format; therefore there is no need to finish the hole if you can’t contribute to your team. We will adopt the ready golf initiative and slow play will be penalised at the discretion of the tournament committee.

The event only utilizes 6 holes of the golf course, namely; 1,2,6,7,8 & 18. You will play 3 games of round robin in your pool, the top two teams will qualify for the cup and the bottom 2 for the plate. A knockout format will determine the champion team. We will change the position of the flags and tees for the knock out stages.
