Lots of laughs at Koos Kombuis gig in Plett
The final Plett SunSets event was held last night with Tim Hopwood opening for Koos Kombuis who kept the audience in fits of laughter with his often hilarious songs which have amused his fans for years.
Koos’s ability to involve the audience in his set in not limited to his humour though. With songs like “Lisa se klavier” he is entrancing and can silence even the loudest crowd for a few minutes as they lose themselves in his ethereal sound.
The venue was perfect with a mild evening at sunset allowing the audience to drink in the music on the balcony to the sounds of waves breaking on the beach.
Plett ARTS Festival continues tonight with the Plett AfroJazz at Central Beach featuring Pops Mohamed, Dave Reynolds, Ronan Skillen, Charlton Daniels and Femi Koya and his Afrobeat Band.
