Plettenberg Bay, Garden Route

It also has its fair share of farm shops selling fresh and delicious local produce, from gourmet cheeses to cured meats.

You can also check out Birds of Eden, an impressive two-hectare dome spanning over a gorge of natural forest — making it the largest free flight bird aviary in the world. Home to more than 3,500 birds, the sanctuary aims to create a safe environment in which to release African birds back into the wild.
