The Garden Route and Klein Karoo Regional Tourism office hereby confirms and assures all travel and trade that we are open for business. Several Tourism businesses in and around the Knysna and Plettenberg Bay area have been affected and damaged by the devastating fires, but we confirm that the situation is under control and that humanitarian work to the affected areas have started.

All the towns in the region are fully functional and ready to assist with tour groups, visitors to the areas etc. Although Tourism infrastructure and services in some cases has been affected, we welcome all visitors and tourists to the region. We strive to provide you with the best diverse experience that our beautiful region offers.
