WineTots’ Winter Tour – Eden to Addo
Winter Holidays means another WineTots family adventure – this time, from Eden to Addo!
Starting with birthday celebrations at the breathtaking Belle Balance Bush Hideout in the Plett Game Reserve, a brief stop at Newstead Lund Family Vineyards in the Crags for a brilliant bubbly tasting & ending with a relaxing afternoon of mermaid spotting at the Wreck beach.
Our final stop was the ever-enchanting Addo Elephant National Park, home to the Big 7 (the traditional safari Big 5 plus the southern right whale & great white shark in its marine protected area, Algoa Bay). What a magical experience it was to soak up the African sky and sounds of the hyena and jackals calling at night, and meet tons of adorable elephant families and tots, as they appear out of the Addo thicket up close and personal to say “hi” to us!
