Established and built in 1994 Armagh Country Lodge & Spa is owner managed and run.

Set in two acres of indigenous fynbos in the unique village of Storms River, Tsitsikamma on the world renowned Garden Route, the Armagh offers 4-Star accommodation, a highly acclaimed all day and evening restaurant (Rafters) and a country Spa.

Spacious en suite rooms and cottages flow from individual patios to sprawling natural gardens. At least three days is recommended in this area, which is both an ecological wonderland, surrounded by fynbos, forest and mountains, AND the adventure capital of South Africa!

300 metres from Treetop Canopy Tours, Black Water Tubing, Segway and Mountain Biking, with the Tsitsikamma National Park a mere 10 minutes’ drive away, The Armagh is ideally placed to be laid back, or adventurous and even daring! At the Park, the first day of the Otter Trail beckons (Waterfall Trail). Grab a drink from the honesty bar and order a lunch pack and you’re ready for a day in the outdoors! The world famous Suspension Bridge and Look-Out Point with tremendous views, where the Storms River flows into the sea are spectacular; dolphins can be seen at play and in season the whales are frolicking. Scuba Diving and boat cruises are also on offer. Next stop is the Bungee straight on the N2 Highway. You may either just watch or jump! Do it – don’t regret it!! Next stop Monkeyland, Birds of Eden, Elephant Sanctuary, Tenikwa Wildlife Awareness Centre.

So much to see and do! … Not forgetting our astounding beaches at Nature’s Valley and Plettenberg Bay.

Spa Treatments in our garden spa, no sophisticated saunas or steam baths just nature, bird song and caring therapists, soothe you into sundowners and on to Rafters much acclaimed eclectic fusion food with emphasis on Cape Malay influenced cuisine prepared with locally grown produce by our in-house trained team of staff. Wines are sourced from the Robertson Wine Valley by Johan and Marion and guests may sit out on the Fynbos Terrace, or inside in Rafters to enjoy soft music, a homely atmosphere and wonderful food. You are guaranteed a sound sleep in our fresh unpolluted air.

Eco-credentials at The Armagh insist on grey water separation, harvesting the rainfall, usage of energy efficient bulbs and eco-friendly cleaning chemicals.
