It started out as a simple farmhouse and 80 years later, Kurland Estate has evolved into an exclusive-use location, boasting private luxury accommodation options and exquisite event facilities.

Kurland is famously known for its five lush polo fields and glamorous equestrian events, but also the 12-suite luxury Homestead (sleeping up to 44 people) and 5-bedroom exclusive-use Villa (sleeping up to 16 guests).

With 700-hectares of space, guests renting the Homestead or the Villa can enjoy horse riding and polo, exploring kilometres of dedicated mountain bike trails on two wheels, walk, hike or run across the estate, fish at the dam, play tennis, relax with a picnic under the oaks or swim in one of the pools on the estate or nearby beaches of Nature’s Valley and Plettenberg Bay.

We are able to host smaller, intimate weddings (up to 30 guests) and big, bold celebrations (up to 300 guests) either in our gardens, at the Pavilion, Villa or Katarina’s. We offer total exclusivity of the estate, should this be desired.
