Valmont Self Catering and Polo Estate is situated  11 km from Natures Valley and 23 km from Plettenberg Bay just off the R102.

With the Tsitsikamma Mountains as a backdrop this 10 ha property, which includes indigenous forest, pastures and avocado trees, is an ideal getaway along the Garden route.  The ponds on the property attract numerous ducks and other wildlife including bush buck and bush pig.

Valmont consists of a large Main House, Bush cottage and Dam cottage which are all serviced daily and kept in pristine condition.

 

Main House

The stylish main house sleeps 6 people in total.  There are 3 bedrooms.  Two bedrooms have king size beds and 1 bedroom has 2 single beds. Each bedroom leads off onto the large patio.  The spacious main bedroom has a separate bathroom with a bath and shower and a dressing room.  Both the other bedrooms also have en suite bathrooms. 

The house has a open plan kitchen and lounge area.  Air conditioners  are present throughout the house as well as Dstv.  Braai facilities are also available for  your convenience.

 

Bush Cottage

The bush cottage is a rustic A framed cottage on the edge of the Indigineous forest.  This one bedroom sleeps 2 in a king size bed but also has a sleeper couch in the lounge area if needed.  The house has a open plan kitchen and lounge fully equipped for your stay.  Dstv is available and the room and lounge is equipped with airconditioners.  A outside braai area is available.

 

Dam Cottage

This wooden cottage with 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom has a Queen size bed in one room and 2 single beds in the other.  There is Dstv and airconditioners throughout with a well stocked open plan kitchen and lounge.  Braai Facilities and a verandah overlooking the garden makes for a comfortable stay.

 

Polo

Valmont Polo offers custom made packages on trained polo ponies.  The Plett Polo clubs season runs from December to April each year.  Polo is played on well maintained fields on the Kurland Polo Estate.  Tournaments are held over the Christmas period with weekly tournaments mid December to mid January as well as over the easter period for a month.
