Plett WINE Tours provides experiences tailored to meet the needs of both wine connoisseurs and the occasional wine drinker. Our tours include an overview of the South African wine industry, viticulture, the step-by-step process of creating wine, giving you an overview of the winelands in Plett, a little history of the various wine farms, terrior, and more.
Most of Plett’s wine tasting rooms are located within a 5 to 30 minute drive from each other. While often lively, the tasting rooms are not overly crowded and provide a warm, personal interaction often with the owners themselves or with their capable tasting room hosts.
Wines tasted can vary from two to six at the different wine farms, but be careful how much you drink please. We always recommend that you buy a bottle of wine or two from each winery. It makes a great gift or is perfect to enjoy with friends and family. Please remember that wine from the Plett Winelands can be purchased directly from us and shipped to you anywhere in South Africa or delivered to your accommodation in Plett.
