Tsitsikamma Segway tours is located in Stormsriver Village at Tsitsikamma Backpackers, along the Garden Route in the Tsitsikamma. Bordering the Tsitsikamma National Park this is a scenic location and an awesome stop over. Your tour starts with a 20 minute training session; from there we depart out of the village and into the local indigenous forest for the rest of the tour. On the 2 hour tour we go through our local township, under the N2 and along the foot of the Stormsriver mountain peak to the Big Tree. Once there we stop at the tree for a short break and then come back. The tour is fully guided and refreshment is served halfway. Helmets are provided. Please wear comfortable clothes, sunscreen and shoes. A Segway seat is available on our one machine, please arrange beforehand for use of it should it be deemed necessary.
The Segway PT (Personal Transporter) is exceptionally easy and safe to use. Before each tour, guests receive a comprehensive orientation by an experienced official Segway trainer. This training takes between 15 and 20 minutes per group and covers important safety and operational procedures. Before the tour embarks, the guide ensures that everyone is 100% comfortable on the Segway PT. An obstacle course will enable the riders to practice and build confidence before the tour starts.

What is a Segway PT?
The Segway PT (Personal transporter) is a two-wheeled, self-balancing electric vehicle. Users lean forward to go forward, lean back to go backward and turn by using a “Lead Steer” handlebar. Segway PT’s are driven by electric motors at up to 23km/h.
The Segway PT offers several advancements beyond the first generation models, which makes the ride even more intuitive and productive than ever before.

No pregnant ladies allowed on the tour.
Rates valid till 30 November 2018.
Please be here 30 minutes before the tour time. No late arrivals will be accommodated or refunded.
NO refund if cancellation is received within 24 hours of tour time.

CONDITION OF PAYMENT:
This company will claim a 100% deposit based on the general practice of the Industry.
A 100% deposit or upfront credit card payment will confirm all bookings. No booking can be confirmed without the required proof of payment, credit card payment or bank cheque clearances, received.
Tour Operators only: Vouchers acceptable. Payment terms strictly 30 days from invoice.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
Based on the general practice of the Industry:
A 100% refund will be granted should Client / Operator cancel or amend the booking 24 hours prior to the activity date booked.
A 50% refund will be granted should Client / Operator cancel or amend the booking prior to arrival on the exact date of the activity date booked.
A 0% refund will be applicable should the Client / Operator fail to arrive, without notification on the exact date of the activity booked.
A full refund will be considered on merit, by management, in the event of illness / hospitalisation / accident or death, upon receipt of proof.
A full refund will be granted to Clients / Operators should Tsitsikamma Segway Tours cancel any activity in the interest of safety.
No refund will be granted should the Client / Operator not complete the tour.
ADDITIONAL EXTRAS:
All extras not mentioned, for own account and should be settled before departure.
CONFIRMATION OF BOOKINGS AND FINAL NUMBERS:
Confirmation of bookings, final numbers and dietary requirements must be confirmed at least 48hrs in advance.
