Engel & Völkers Real Estate Plettenberg Bay is proudly hosting the hottest event this April… the Engel & Völkers Chilli Festival! An event for the whole family.

From 24 – 29 April 2023 you can experience a taste sensation at all participating restaurants, at prices that won’t break the bank. One chilli lunch and one chilli dinner menu item will feature on the menu, getting you warmed up for the colder autumn days.
You’re asked to rate your meal and pop your verdicts into the ballot boxes. The restaurant with the most votes will be announced on the 29th at the final event, winning the restaurant the hosting rights for next year’s event.
For the brave fun seekers, come and celebrate your taste buds at our night market on 29 April 2023, from 5 to 9 pm. Right next to Sol Kitchen on Main Street, stalls will offer everything chilli, and for the brave… enter the chilli eating competition! Fantastic Prizes to be won.
Alcoholic beverages will be available at Sol Kitchen. Live music will be provided by Doppelganger.
Various Restaurants around Plett & surrounds will be competing – Adi’s, The Table, Sol Kitchen, Zinzi’s, Curry & Spice, The Bungalow, Moby’s, Bitou Vineyards, Moss & Maple, Luka Vineyards, The Grand Beach, The Lookout Deck, Surf Cafe, Off the Hook, Cornuti Stella Luna Pizzeria, with more restaurants to be confirmed soon.
Stalls will be offering products for purchase on the final evening 29th April – Curry and Spice, Spicy Brownies and Baked Goods, Mr Marc’s Marinade, Chilli grower from Plett, Baked German Good- Christainne, Ice Palazzo -cactus jack / chilli, Coffee stall, Mandy & Jude. The shops in the Yellowoods Centre may also open a little later on the final evening.
