Open Plan Pictures, Plett’s very own pop up drive-in, brings you Disney Pixar’s Finding Dory, the adventures and life lessons of Dory (voice of Ellen DeGeneres), Marlin and Nemo as they search for Dory’s home.

This is a fundraiser for Natures Valley Trust, and you’re invited to bring your picnic and blanket to enjoy this classic movie on the lawn at Old Nick Village.

A hint of mpepu smudges the air.  The sticks on the strings of the kora beat an ancient rhythm and you track back along the annals of time to rituals of respect and spirituality, simple survival, all senses nourished by food, music, poetry and film in a night of Kalahari Enchantment.

THE GREAT DANCE – A Hunter’s Story

An evocative and profound film by Damon Foster and Craig Foster. Through the eyes of a San Bushman hunter who lives in the Kalahari Desert, perceive a world invisible to outsiders, a world where every footprint, every raindrop, and every broken branch tells a story.

Smalltown TiVi is Kwanokuthula’s very own YouTube lifestyle and music channel, produced and directed by King Melisizwe. A self-proclaimed “Xhosalised” rapper, King has been active and agitating in the Plett music space for the longest time.

Now is the time for the upcoming young artists to have a platform on Smalltown TiVi, and they will have the opportunity at the Plett Arts Festival.

The show features interviews with performing artists in the festival, and the hot and happening music set will perform live. So get switched on and tune in to Smalltown TiVi.
