“Firefly” tracks the incredible 30-year journey of PJ Powers also known as Thandeka, one of this country’s most beloved, prolific and enduring performers. The journey she takes you on spans her early accidental detour to Soweto, an event that changed the course of her life, to the heights of her extraordinary successes in the 1980’s, to her plunge to the depths of alcoholism and eventual triumph. The show features all of the popular anthems and ballads that have formed the soundtrack to PJ’s life. It’s an intimate and hilarious look at the life of a music icon.

Firefly was co-written and directed by Maralin Vanrenen. PJ Power will also bring her new book ‘Here I am” to sell & sign (very inspirational).
