“South Africa is home to amazing culinary and creative talent, this festival is the perfect showcase to celebrate food and those who make it, how could we not take advantage of that?” says Cindy Wilson-Trollip, Event Coordinator of the Plett Food Film Festival.
Of course, films are not only one course of the Plett Food Film Festival’s offerings this year. Award-winning South African chefs will be joining highly sought-after local chefs to retell the stories of highlighted feature films through exquisitely prepared meals. Featuring the finest local ingredients, each of the dinners offer a unique dining experience you won’t find anywhere else.

About the Plett Food Film Festival
The Plett Food Film Festival is the first of its kind in South Africa – a festival celebrating cinema, food and wine culture. The three-day festival takes place in the heart of the Garden Route, the town of Plettenberg Bay. The festival is an experiential celebration of food on film, the culture of food and the dramatic impact it has on our day-to-day lives. The third Plett Food Film Festival is scheduled for 11 – 13 July, 2016 during the 3 week Plett MAD (Music|Art|Drama) Festival.
