From the concept of fixed-point photography (which is used to monitor and record habitat changes in nature), shared nature encounters and common pathways, Rewilding … Back to Belonging evolved. It incorporates mankind’s history, nature connection, nature immersion and an opening of senses to a deeper knowing of belonging in the wilderness. The journey of the senses, the heart and the creative mind in nature is thus experienced across time, space, intellectually, emotionally. It is manifested in words, songs, colour and dance.
The tool used to get “back to belonging” is the arts: Photography, music, the written word, painting, drawing, music, dance …..
We explore inner and outer worlds, light skies and night skies, imagine our past and settle in “our now”. Join us at Brackenburn …..
The cost is fully inclusive of luxury tented accommodation, all meals, facilitation, guided nature walks, forest immersion, watercolour paints, pencils, paper etc.
