The Rise & Fall of the Brenton Blue Butterfly

Van Plettenberg Historical Society header
Event Date: 12 May, 2022

After a period of inactivity due to the restrictions and tribulations of the Pandemic as well as the sad deaths of Committee Member David Rowe and our Chairman Dr Clive Noble, THE VAN PLETTENBERG HISTORICAL SOCIETY is resuming activities and events.

Our first Public Event will be held on the 12th of May at Sky Villa, when Graeme Young a well-known and notable Lepidopterist in Plett & the Garden Route will talk on “The Rise & Fall of the Brenton Blue Butterfly”, duly illustrated with his many slides.

The talk is especially appropriate as the Van Plettenberg Historical Society has itself undergone a metamorphosis – having come out of its dormant period and into full flight once again.
