BATS BRING LIVE THEATRE TO PLETT AGAIN
The Bitou Amateur Theatrical Society (BATS) are working hard rehearsing their new play, “Old Actors Never Die”. After two successful plays in the “Inspector Pratt” trilogy it was felt that a fresh new production would give some new aspiring actors an opportunity to participate. David Hall-Green is directing a talented cast of eleven local amateur actors, young and not-so-young, who will be seen in this hilarious comedy farce about a group of retired actors and actresses who live in a posh retirement home – shades of “Quartet”? Edmund, who is a bit-part veteran of many films (and notorious womaniser) arrives to find his three ex wives also resident. A shady member of the Russian Mafia provides some dramatic scenes and intrigue abounds.
The BATS team are delighted to bring another live theatre performance to the community of Plettenberg Bay and beyond.
Proceeds go to PAWS for animal care education.
