Panel Discussion Turning the Tide
Event Date: 23 October, 2024

Join Eden to Addo Corridor Initiative in a fundraising talk and panel discussion – TURNING THE TIDE – Solutions vs Crisis as we explore the people and projects who are tackling our greatest eco and social challenges.

DATE: Wednesday 23 October
TIME: 17h30 for 18h00
VENUE: Lagoon Room at the Beacon Island
COST: R150 (includes welcome drink) – BOOK TICKETS or buy at Barney’s Kiosk

Late last year at our previous panel discussion we covered the Anthropocene, a proposed new epoch that highlights the human role in the significant environmental and social challenges the world is dealing with. For the most part, it wasn’t good news. In this next event, Ian Michler will introduce many positive breakthroughs and actions taking place at the macro level that give hope for the future.

We are then joined by a panel of speakers who will share their vision, insight and experience on groundbreaking and grassroots approaches to a world where people and nature can thrive. Bitou Executive Mayor Jessica Kamkam, Hendri Coetzee from Nature’s Valley Trust, Layla Staegemann from Cultural Connections and hosts Rhian Berning and Ian Michler from Eden to Addo will be on the panel.

There will be lots of time for audience engagement and questions.

Join us as we take courage in Turning The Tide.

NB: The ticket price is tax deductible, contact admin@edentoaddo.co.za for an 18A Tax Certificate.

(If the ticket price is prohibitive, but you would really like to join please contact us to see how you could volunteer or contribute in other ways to the non-profit work of Eden to Addo).
