Whale Rally time is always June, in the middle of the winter, but you’ll have such a good time that the cold is no problem. We’ll also give you FREE wood to make warm fires.

The Whale Rally is a serious biker’s rally, started in 2005. One of the best biker rallies in South Africa. Not hardcore, just a rally where you can relax, have fun and enjoy an unforgettable weekend with biker friends. A rally for bikers – we do our best to not allow entry to those who are not bikers & who do not understand the biking lifestyle.

Over the years this rally has grown from strength to strength with around 1500 bikers having attended in some years. Once you have been to your first Whale Rally, you won’t miss another one! In fact, 5 year badges are rather common for most of our rally goers. The bikers who attend are usually from the Western and Eastern Cape, however we have regulars from as far as Gauteng and Bloemfontein as well, with our furthest bikers having travelled from Alberta Canada and Germany – yep, they attended on their bikes too! All proceeds from the rally are donated to needing Charities within Ulysses Garden Route boundaries.

Our aim is simple, and that is to host “The Rally” in the Western Cape – considered by many to be the best, where there is something for everyone to do, no matter who you are and what your preferences may be. Prizes are in abundance, and tradition holds that one lucky person always goes home with a first prize to to be very happy about! First prize at the 2012 & 2013 Whale Rally’s was R50 000 with the 2nd prize R10 000.
