After months under covers – it’s time to dust off the wedding cobwebs and head to the Garden Route town of Plettenberg Bay where unique and stylish ceremonies are celebrated.

Big Day Event recently dusted the cobwebs off a few of Plett’s more established wedding service providers in anticipation of the wedding industry getting back on its feet. Get excited, get ready and get organised and start investigating the perfect destination for your perfect day.

Our beautiful bride-to-be Layla pampered herself at the stunningly refurbished Bella Balance (formerly known as The Baroness), located within the Plettenberg Bay Game Reserve where she was to become the perfect attraction for a herd of elephants which amazingly came within millimeters of her flowing veil. Such a magical African moment was conveniently experienced within 15 minutes of Plett central.

A champagne brunch prepared by the incredible team from Nguni Restaurant was as delicious as ever and Pippa’s Flowers ensured that the quaint venue looked fit for a princess.

The bride wore jewellery by local designer and shop owner Willemijn Murray, and a beautiful gown from local designer and supplier Belinda’s Stitch Aka “My Wedding Dress”, was the cherry on the cake.
