Get Lucky Summer’s Sunday concerts overlooking the beach, on the lawn of the Beacon Isle, are a favourite for holidaymakers and locals alike. Resident band, GoodLuck, hosts SA musos, Jeremy Loops, Matthew Mole and World of Birds over three summer Sundays.

The Get Lucky Summer surpasses all expectations on New Year’s Eve as, for the first time ever, GoodLuck is joined on-stage by Goldfish at the Plett Rugby Club! This promises to be a magical night under the stars with food trucks, a VIP viewing deck, fully stocked bars and an incredible line-up.

Surf Café is one of Plett’s favourite watering holes offering a super relaxed atmosphere and flavoursome meals from across the globe. This summer, from 11 Decemeber – 12 January 2020, a fine line-up of local artists will be playing at this intimate venue, ensuring that every night of the summer you’ll find a place to enjoy good music, food and a fun Plett vibe!

IBS Entertainment is proud to present another mind -blowing music extravaganza; this year, introducing an exciting sight-seeing add-on to the music festival. Conducted over two days, the ‘pre-party’ will include a tour of Monkeyland, the Crags Elephant Park, the Snake Park, Wine Route & an Ocean Safari tour, ending at Spotlight Nightclub with Naak Masiq and local DJs.

The main event starts off with a VVIP bus tour to Knysna and dinner on the John Benn while the venue fills up with day-trippers ready for the picnic-style music festival with DJ Tira, Dlada Mshunisi, Tipcee, Prince Kaybee, Vusi Nova, Biza Wethu  and  MC: Somizi Mhlongo and a number of local artists..

What would the festive season be without an evening of Christmas carols and candlelight on Central Beach? Join us for the annual Carols by Candlelight on 23 December at 19h30 on Central Beach. Bring along the entire family, camping chairs, snacks and a picnic blanket. Candles will be sold at the event. Entrance is FREE.


The most hopping barn on the Garden Route has another fantastic line-up for the summer season. Comedy, SA musicians and tribute bands will be entertaining from 13 December – 2 January 2020. Celebrate in comfort by booking seats on the Barnyard Bus shuttle, enjoy the buzz of a full-house theatre and nibble on a gourmet picnic basket, the Barnyard is always a winner!

The family-friendly sunset-picnic vibe will kick off just after lunch at Rietvlei Country Estate and run till the early hours of the night. Kids under 12 enter for free! More information will follow soon. Active from 26 – 31 December 2019.


Another first for Plett Summer is the OPIA NYE Experience – lose yourself in a utopia of celebration at Rietvlei Country Estate. This open-air venue aims to deliver a memorable NYE for all and invites the curious to explore the beats of the rising underground at this joyful event.
