Jansen’s Travel and Tours offers free services to pensioners during the 21 days lockdown
On Friday the 27th, day 1 of the 21 days lockdown due to the widespread CONVID-19 which took the world by surprise and caught us unprepared, it’s good to know that there are still some good Samaritans out there.
Trevor Jansen, the head of the family run traveling company based in Kranshoek, announced on their Facebook page that they’ll be offering free services to pensioners to collect their pensions, and also drive them to the Market Square and back for their shopping at no cost to the old timers and Grandmas.
Dates: 30th, 31st March and on the 1st of April 2020.

Departure Time Market Square via Plett CBD: 6:00 am and 7:00 am
Return: 7:30 am and 8:30 am

In adhering with the imposed measures to curb the spread of CONVID-19, the company asks passengers to please wear a face mask and also fill in the CONVID-19 Passenger List in line with the se out traveling restrictions.
When I applauded Trevor for this amazing effort, he said “It’s time for people to change their way of thinking and open their hearts. Because (sic) we are in a human crisis”.
Indeed we are. Kudos to you Trevor. We call upon other taxi operators to follow suit.
