South Africa’s President Cyril Ramaphosa has announced tonight that the National Coronavirus Command Council has enforced a nation-wide lockdown from midnight on Thursday 26 March in an attempt to reduce the spread of the Corona virus pandemic in South Africa and ‘flatten the curve’.
