Le Fournil is a slice of France in the heart of Plettenberg Bay.

Better than ever, the café has been newly renovated and now features fine art exhibitions by Southern African artists throughout the year.

Take a tarte au citron home or a beautiful painting or both! A place where the locals meet for breakfast and lunch to enjoy conversation and a wood-burning fire, or unwind in the lovely courtyard with a glass of wine, one of our local craft beers or artisanal coffees.

Savour the gourmet sandwiches made on a variety of our freshly baked breads, sourdough or rye. Whilst we sell speciality teas and bistro fare, our customers and the many tourists who are making their way back to Plettenberg Bay, come for our coffee and the delicious croissants made from scratch each morning. Breakfast and lunches served every day from 08h00 (on Sunday, only breakfast is served!)
