South African music icon Majozi finds inspiration in Plettenberg Bay

Plettenberg Bay’s sweeping landscapes and unique photo opportunities not only makes it a great place to spend a holiday, but also a catalyst for inspiration and creativity. From literature and art, sculpture and filming, Plett is a hub for creators and innovators.

South African music icon Majozi recently visited Plett with Instagram celebrities Dean Cothill and Shawn Ogulu to film a winter campaign for an international camera brand’s new equipment. With inspiration from Plett’s wildlife and natural experiences, the crew was spoilt for choice.

Majozi and his team were hosted by Plett Tourism and participating local businesses including CapeNature at Robberg Nature Reserve, Knysna Elephant Park and accommodation, Monkeyland and Birds of Eden, and Untouched Adventures.

Majozi and the crew were fortunate to stay at the lodge at Knysna Elephant Park, which offered the most magnificent of encounters with the rescued African elephants that call our forests their home. Their stay in Plett also included a glimpse into iKasi Life in Plett with a visit to the N2 Lounge and Kasi Lyfstyle Tshisanyama. Photographs were commissioned with NB Photography.
