iKasi Creative Media specializes in reaching out to rural youth to bring skills, training, and access to jobs, in film, TV and digital media.
ORIENTATION
31st May – 4th June 2021, Piesang Valley Hall
Our Orientation is a 5-day programme – it is the recruitment and selection phase of the accredited training and includes the following:
- Introduction to Film, TV and Digital Media career pathways
- MOJO filmmaking (Mobile journalism)
- Job Readiness and personal management (Presented by the National Youth Development Agency – NYDA)
Candidates must be from the ages of 18 to 35 with a matric certificate.
Selected learners from the Orientation will continue onto our 3 months Skills Programme. The programme is NQF Level 4 MICT Seta accredited and includes accommodation and stipend for 25 learners.
