Travelling: COVID-19 safety

Guidelines for travelling under Level 1:

English

1.      Keep your mask/face covering on at all times in all forms of public and passenger transport (bus, taxi, cab, aeroplane, train, etc.)

2.      Masks must be worn correctly, covering your nose and mouth, and must be put on and removed safely by the straps/strings/bands.

3.      If you are driving alone or with members of your household, remember to keep your mask on at petrol stations, toll gates, and other stops along your journey where you come into contact with others.

4.      Keep a bottle of sanitiser on you at all times.

5.      Keep a distance of 1.5 metres from others, in queues and other public places. If someone is standing too close to you, politely ask them to step back, or where possible, to stand on the social distancing floor sticker provided.

6.      Where possible, scan your paper ticket/identification booklet yourself or use your mobile device.

7.      Where possible, use card swiping facilities or Snapscan instead of cash. After handling cash, wash/sanitise your hands thoroughly for at least 20 seconds.

8.      Sanitise your hands and wipe down/disinfect your luggage if it was checked in or handled by others.

9.      If you are not feeling well, do not travel. Rather stay at home for your own health and the health of others.

13.  Hlala unayo kuwe ibhotile yesanithayiza ngawo onke amaxesha.

14.  Gcina umgama oyimitha e-1,5 kwabany’ abantu, emigceni nakwezinye iindawo zoluntu. Ukuba umntu umi kufutshane kakhulu kuwe, mcela ngentlonipho ukuba ubuye umva, okanye apho kunokwenzeka, ume kwisitikha esibekwe phantsi emgangathweni esenzelwe uchaselwano.

15.  Apho kunokwenzeka khona, skena itikiti lakho lephepha/incwadana yokuzazisa okanye usebenzise iselfowuni yakho.

16.  Apho kunokwenzeka khona, sebenzisa izixhobo zokuswayipha ikhadi okanye iSnapscan endaweni yemali. Emva kokuphatha imali, hlamba/sanithayiza izandla zakho kakuhle kangangemizuzwana engama-20.

17.  Sanithayiza izandla zakho uze uzosule/ubulale iintsholongwane kwimithwalo yakho ukuba ibikhe yahlolwa okanye yaphathwa ngabany’ abantu.

18.  Ukuba awuziva mnandi, musa ukuhamba. Kungcono uhlale ekhaya ukwenzela impilo yakho neyabany’ abantu.

19.  Hou jou masker/gesigbedekking te alle tye aan wanneer jy enige openbare en passasiersvervoer (bus, taxi, huurmotor, vliegtuig, trein, ens.) gebruik.

20.  Maskers moet korrek gedra word en moet jou neus en mond bedek, en jy moet dit veilig aansit en verwyder en slegs aan die bandjies/toutjies/linte raak.

21.  Indien jy alleen of saam met lede van jou huishouding in ‘n motor ry, moet jy onthou om jou masker by vulstasies, tolhekke en ander stopplekke tydens jou reis aan te hou wanneer jy met ander in aanraking kom.

22.  Hou te alle tye ‘n bottel ontsmettingsmiddel by jou.

23.  Bly op ‘n afstand van 1.5 meter van ander in toue en ander openbare plekke. Indien iemand te naby aan jou staan, vra hulle beleefd om terug te tree, of, waar moontlik, op die vloerplakker te staan.

24.  Skandeer waar moontlik self jou papierkaartjie/identifikasieboekie of gebruik jou mobiele toestel.

25.  Gebruik waar moontlik kaartmasjienfasiliteite of SnapScan in plaas van kontant. Was/ontsmet jou hande vir ten minste 20 sekondes of ontsmet dit nadat jy kontant hanteer het.

26.  Ontsmet jou hande en vee jou bagasie af of ontsmet dit indien dit deur ander in ontvangs geneem of hanteer is.

27.  Indien jy siek voel, moet jy nie reis nie. Bly liewer tuis ter wille van jou eie gesondheid en die gesondheid van ander.
