The Keep Plett Clean Campaign has done a remarkable job over the past couple of years in clearing our town’s streets of rubbish and helping to beautify our town that is so dependent on tourism.
With the financial assistance of Kwikspar Plett and Spar Eastern Cape, the Keep Plett Clean Campaign led by Alison Bryant, has been able to employ street cleaners who now assist volunteers in keeping the town tidy.
Plett Tourism has also been involved in sponsoring bins around town to support this worthy initiative. By keeping Plett clean we ensure that tourists who visit our town leave with a good impression, thus being more likely to recommend Plettenberg Bay to their friends and family. And with tourism being the lifeblood of our coastal town, making sure tourists return is instrumental in providing an income for the many thousands of people who live in the greater Plett area.
Well done to the Keep Plett Clean Campaign, Kwikspar Plett, Spar Eastern Cape, Greenwood Bay College, Smart Gardening Company, Arlene’s Pool Services, volunteers, workers and all the other local businesses who have assisted in the ongoing cleanup of our beautiful town.
