An exciting start to Official Trans Agulhas Inflatable Boat Race this morning at Hobie Beach in Plett!
Celebrating its 33rd anniversary, the fast-paced, action-packed watersport kicked off this morning and will see over 30 inflatable boats compete for top honours.
Competitors will visit beaches along the coast between Nature’s Valley and Gordon’s Bay, where the race will finish on 31 December 2021.
The first day is from Hobie Beach, Plett, to Mosselbay. The second leg is a grueling one from Mosselbay to Struisbaai and includes a night race. Day three sees the competitors racing from Struisbaai to Gansbaai. The last leg is from Gansbaai to Gordon’s Bay Harbour.
