Day two of the Sasfin Plett Wine & Bubbly Festival drew a huge crowd despite the blustery conditions on the Saturday morning. After day one had concluded in perfect weather conditions, word got out that this was a festival not to be missed, and hundreds of revelers from near and far descended on the marquee on Saturday to sample the local wines & bubbles, taste the canapés and enjoy the festive vibe.

The theme was once again ‘blue & white with a hat’ and awards for best dressed were handed out during an afternoon full of fun and laughter. Best dressed ladies went to Thembi, Nadia, Bridget and Jamie. Best dressed man was scooped by Daron, and the coveted title of best dressed couple went to Nadia & Jareth, and Robbie and Tish.

After an overcast, unsettled start to the day, the wind dropped at around 4pm and festival-goers were treated to another perfect Plett evening. Wendy Oldfield’s performance was followed by an energized act from Arno Carstens, who had party animals tearing up the dance floor to songs from his Springbok Nude Girls days to tunes from his most recent album, Lightning Prevails.
