Alkantmooi has helicopter landing facilities and is well positioned to give the visitor access to famous beaches, the Tsitsikamma forests and mountains of the Garden Route.

From Alkantmooi you can explore the wonders of the Knysna forests, Robberg Peninsula and Storms River mouth.  For the adventurous and energetic there are numerous activities in the area, which we will gladly book for you, these include: whale and dolphin watching, horse riding, golf, bungi jumping (world’s highest), cycling, scuba diving, visits to various elephant parks, Monkeyland (Primate sanctuary), township tours, glider flights, river trips or take a leisurely drive up one of Thomas Bain’s mountain passes into perfect tranquility to watch breathtaking sunsets.

Directions:

From the Port Elizabeth-side:
On the N2 national road, pass the Thyme and Again farm stall on your right.
Turn inland (right) at the ‘Ferries’sign, just before crossing the Keurbooms River bridge.
Pass the Keurbooms River Nature Reserve hut and follow the signs up the dirt track onto the hill.
After about 1.7km, turn left towards Alkantmooi and right at the ‘Gawie and Magdeld’ signpost, and stop in front of the two garage doors.
The entrance to the apartment is to your right.
Your undercover parking is lower down on the right.

From the Plettenberg Bay-side:
