ABOUT
The Kids of Kurland Project is presenting two great shows at the Plett Fringe Festival this year. The focus is on comedy and satire, with two outstanding performers, one familiar to Plett theatre goers and a very exciting newcomer to the Plett entertainment scene. The two comment on current affairs, famous and infamous people, the approach of middle age and anything that catches the sharp edge of their wit. Evenings of laughter are guaranteed.
The festival opens with the ever-popular Nik Rabinowitz who will present his show on two nights. Nik’s new show is Fortyfied. Nik, on the edge of a midlife crisis, rather than do the many things that men with midlife crisis are reported to do, has created a new show in which he hilariously explores the possibility that forty is the new thirty. Nik’s sold-out shows at previous Fringe Festivals attest to the energy and sheer delight of his performance.
Tickets are available from Ann Fermor on 0824528764 or from the Old House Shop, Plett. Daniel Richards performs on 29 June and Nik Rabinowitz on 30 June and 1 July. Both shows are presented at the White House Theatre, Plettenberg Bay, and commence at 7.30 pm. A cash bar and snacks will be available in the courtyard for some socialising before the shows.
The beneficiary of the Festival is the Kids of Kurland Project which supports the Crags Primary School in Kurland.
