Sasfin Plett Wine and Bubbly Festival 2015

Beach or mountains. Wine or bubbly? Book your tickets now for Plett’s second festival dedicated to wine, bubbles and the finer things in life.

There will be more than ten local producers from the area. This is great news for the Garden Route and close neighbours Port Elizabeth, Grahamstown and East London.

Leading up to the weekend event extravaganza, you will find an entire week of wine farm and sporting events linked to the festival. This includes the Plett Robberg Xpress Trail Run (3 October), Breast Cancer Awareness Walk (7 October), Plettenvale Wines Masquerade Dinner Dance at the new Equinox Flame & Flavour Restaurant (7 October), Plett Winelands Classic (8 October), Cat Simoni at The White House Theatre (8 October) and Tour de Plett (10 October).

Friday and Saturday’s grand tasting at the main event will showcase the local wines and bubbles paired with foods beautifully prepared by some of Plett’s best restaurants. Sip, stroll and enjoy the sun and sea just steps from the Indian Ocean at Plett’s Central Beach.

Arno Carstens, who started his successful career as lead singer of the hugely popular Springbok Nude Girls, and continued to make some of SA’s favourite music as a solo artist will be performing on Saturday at the Sasfin Plett Wine & Bubbly Festival.

Friday and Saturday festival goers will also enjoy the cheerful music of “The Sounds of Joy”, Plett’s popular Tigger Reunert, legendary Wendy Oldfield and Stellenbosch muso, Gerald Clark.

Friday’s performance will also include SAMA award-nominated Josie Field. The musicians will be complemented by the sounds of the surf on Central Beach during the 2nd annual Sasfin Plett Wine & Bubbly Festival on 9-10 October.

All tickets include 10 wine tasting coupons, R20 discount on a bottle of wine and commemorative glass. Additional wine coupons and food available for purchase during the festival.

Day Pass = R200 per person
Weekend Pass (for both days) = R350 per person (R20 discount on a bottle of wine – applies to one day only)
