Celebrate Women’s Month with Complimentary Wine Tastings at The Plettenberg
The Plettenberg continues its Women’s Month celebrations with complimentary wine tastings every Friday in the stylish Blue Lounge, from 17:00 to 18:00. On Friday, 15 August 2025, indulge in the elegance of Moët & Chandon Rosé Impérial, a Champagne renowned for its enchanting aromas of wild strawberry, raspberry, and cherry, accented by delicate floral notes of rose and a subtle hint of pepper.
As the month unfolds, the final two tastings will spotlight the talents of female winemakers, starting on 22 August 2025 with the wines of Jamie Papenfus from Waterford Estate, whose innovative approach and deep connection to nature have shaped her distinctive winemaking style. On 29 August 2025 The Plettenberg will raise a glass to Danielle Coetsee of Boschendal, a trailblazer in the Cap Classique category, whose work continues to redefine the role of women in the traditionally male-dominated wine industry.
Guests are invited to sip and savour the wines of women making waves in the world of wine and are invited to book for dinner at Amelia’s at The Plettenberg after the wine tastings.
