On Tuesday, CemAir launched their new Bombardier Dash-8 Q300 on its inaugural flight. The flight whisked off Plett scholars, municipal officials and senior citizens on a thrilling flight over the town and surrounding areas.
Bitou Municipality’s Mayor, Councillor Memory Booysen was at the airport in Plett to welcome the new plane and its crew. “It will be good for the town, tourism will flourish and it will definitely be good for the economy of both Plett and Knysna,” he said.
