More than 60 artists from around the Garden Route and some 1000 patrons have had the pleasure to experience Plett’s beautiful winter hospitality during the annual Plett ARTS Festival. Now in its 5th year, the Plett ARTS Festival is one of the Garden Route’s premier art events that attracts visitors because of its art, celebrated entertainment lineup, special exhibitions and amazing food and film.
Femi Koya and the Afrobeat Band
If you missed the talents of award-winning correographer and dancer Mamela Nyamza, or the intense performance by artist Luzolo Ndabeni – you can still catch many more incredible exhibitors in Plett. It’s not too late – you have until 9 July to experience a whole lot more! There’s a bronze-pouring workshop at the Bronze Fields Foundry; award-winning Afridocs films over three days; Plett Food & Film with a screening of Pollock at Emily Moon, live music including Koos Kombuis and Tim Hopwood, art exhibitions throughout town and a grand finale with the Plett AfroJazz concert featuring world-class musicians including the Pan African Calling concert featuring Pops Mohamad, Femi Koya and the Afrobeat Band.

Art on display includes; Mixed Media, Ceramics, Digital Art, Drawing, Fiber Art, Functional Art, Glass, Jewelry, Painting, Photography, Printmaking, Sculpture and Woodwork.
