On Saturday, 11 October PAWS will again be hosting the popular annual Four X PAWS Dog Walk for the canine residents of Plett. This is a wonderful outdoor event for the whole family when dogs of all sizes, colours and breeds come together to meet each other, have a good sniff in the Longstone Park before setting off on an exhilarating 5 km walk along Beachyhead Drive. Marshalls will make sure that walkers and dogs are safe and there will be water points along the way. Those who do not want to walk quite so far, can return to the park to await the return of the walkers and the prize-giving for various categories of dogs.

PAWS is once again very grateful to Royal Canin for their generous sponsorship and prizes. While we hope to raise some funds for our important task of providing primary health care services to the neglected animals of the Bitou area, the main purpose of this event is to create an opportunity for our dog-loving community to share a happy outdoor event with their pets.

This is all about our four-legged best friends and they are the stars of the day. We hope to see you there. We would also love to welcome as many of our PAWS adoptees as possible.
