The coastal area between Keurbooms Strand and Natures Valley is host to possibly the most beautiful and untouched coastal areas and natural forests in South Africa where there is little to no development with only footprints remaining from intrepid adventurers looking to discover the spirit and essence of Africa in its purest form. The coastal features are rugged, challenging and so spectacular and majestic.
The trails traverses a variety of rugged coastal features, awesome beaches, natural untouched indigenous forest and endemic coastal fynbos vegetation types which are host to a very interesting but diverse and exciting species array of birds, trees, plants and elusive yet sometimes observed mammals or more appropriately their signatures of their presence. Although not seen very regularly signs will be observed of the presence of Cape Clawless Otter, bushpigs, caracal, possibly leopard spoor, baboons and vervet monkeys.
We offer a full day Keurbooms Coastal ‘Explorer’ Hiking Eco-Adventure which starts at the famous Enricos Restaurant in Keurbooms and ends in Natures Valley. Features en-route include Arch Rock, ancient shell middens, the Brak River, awesome beaches, rugged rocky seashores, pristine coastal forests and the Salt River crossing where we may or may not have to get wet dependent on the tide. Lunch is at Forest Hall. Half day options are available for those who have time constraints or simply want to test and challenge their own abilities before embarking on the ‘Explorer’.
Guided groups of no more than 12 people can be accommodated. Our lead guides are professional and very highly qualified, survivors in their own right, educators and teachers who love sharing and teaching what they know. Herewith are the three optional walking programs from which to choose and be enjoyed. Compile a group with special requests – we can do.

Only CASH or EFT accepted. Unfortunately we have no Credit Card Facilities. A 50% non-refundable deposit secures a booking.
Minimum charge for single eco-adventurer is the cost equivalent of the minimum of 2 eco-adventurers.
