Published: September 23rd, 2016

After 20 years in operation, The Barnyard Theatre, Plettenberg Bay has been taken over by Mel Botes, a well-known and respected musician, guitarist, composer and producer in South Africa.

The well-connected Botes family have attracted the attention of the many accomplished local performers who have chosen the Garden Route as their home. Local artists will be invited to showcase their talents here, record, become part of the new productions that will be developed here in future.

Guests are welcome to again bring their own picnic baskets… or take advantage of the convenience of building their own unique platters from the delicious, fresh ingredients on offer. The only proviso, for sustainability of this amazing venue, is to support the cash bar as no alcohol or beverages are allowed to be brought onto the premises.
