New Sky Park MTB trails opening in December 2022
We are delighted to share the opening of Sky Park’s new MTB trails on 1 December 2022 – an exciting new addition to Plett Summer’s outdoor offerings. TrailLynx has built a number of new trails that are all easily accessible from The Hub, opposite Old Nick Village.
At The Hub, riders will find a convenient new parking area and a space to prepare for their ride – and, from there, choose to explore the new trails on the slopes below Sky Villa Boutique Hotel or ride across to Sky Park and try the crafted flowlines and loop trails – all accessible via the central hub.
Access fees are payable at Sky Hub or Sky Villa Boutique Hotel reception. Trail fees are R60 per day, and R300 for 12 months unlimited access (Dec 2022 – Dec 2023). Annual stickers will be issued on payment.
Sky Park will be hosting a small XC Enduro on 16 December 2022 from Sky Villa where riders can expect a fun MTB event with five timed stages.
“We are again hosting a small XC Enduro on Friday 16th December from Sky Villa Boutique Hotel,” TrailLynx’s Johan Vorster says. “This is a fun mountain bike event with five timed stages.”
