The StreetSmart South Africa fundraising initiative raised a fantastic R1,060 000.00 in 2016 – R5 at a time. The Fat Fish restaurant in Plett has been recognised as the top contributing restaurant in the last quarter of 2015. These funds will be put to good use in 2017. For more detail on how it will be applied towards education, skills training and family reunification programmes for street children and children at risk of going onto the streets, .
