I love travelling with family and friends and although I really enjoy staying in hotels and guest houses I prefer a private space where we can really bond, laugh and chat, play board games, cook together (that’s the Greek in me), have fun in the pool, enjoy a good braai under the stars with my playlist, lounge about on rainy mornings in PJ’s and enjoy the memories created.
There is a farm we return to in the Karoo repeatedly and it feels like we are arriving home when we drive through the gate. This is a worldwide trend; more travellers are seeking private spaces when booking accommodation. I have been in the hospitality industry for over 30 years. My experience from working in five-star hotels has lingered and has inspired the boutique experience we have put together at Plett Villas for those discerning guests that book a private villa but still want all those spoils and luxuries they would get in a boutique hotel or guest house.
We offer a variety of services in our villas including chefs, butlers, private guided tours, wellness packages and personalised guest liaison services. We love supporting local and have high-quality service providers and products included in our boutique experience. Our love of the area and the beautiful bay we call home allows us to offer a wonderful concierge service to our guests with a myriad of activities, ocean experiences, boutique shopping and fine dining opportunities. Fundamentally, we wish to create an experience for our guests, something unique and tailored to suit their lifestyle. We want our guests to leave with a sense of belonging.
ABOUT PLETT VILLAS
A select choice of exclusive holiday homes in Plettenberg Bay. Utmost care is taken to ensure our clients are accommodated in individually appointed homes. Additional personalised services such as cleaning, laundry, catering, shopping, baby-sitting, airport transfers, assistance with activities and restaurant bookings are offered. Depending on the villa some of these services are included or can be arranged at additional cost. It is important to build a relationship with guests staying in our homes; all clients are met on arrival and assisted throughout their stay if required.
