Behind the scenes at Plett Food Film Festival

There was much anticipation and hard work that went into each unique evening of the Plett Food Film Festival. We were privileged to have international restaurateur, television star and chef, Reza Mahammad with us at the festival – working alongside the Plett chefs, meeting guests and generally being his irrepressible self.

Actress and ambassador Lika Berning, who together with Plett Tourism’s Cindy Wilson-Trollip developed the concept of the Plett Food Film Festival, was an inspired and passionate hostess.

Behind the scenes at the Plett Food Film Festival: the kitchen was steaming, the performers preparing – but all with a sense of joy and excitement that carried over into the performances and platters served up at the Plett Food Film Festival.

He co-hosted the show with The Kumars star Sanjeev Bhaskar. Recently, Mahammad appeared in A Place in France: An Indian Summer, in which he and documentary maker Nigel Farrell bought into an Indian restaurant in the Ardèche region.
